Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Receive goods, verify order, inspect condition of goods
• Move product to and from storage, production areas, and loading dock via forklift
• Scale incoming & outgoing loads on truck scale
• Upload photos and documents into our system
• Coordinate outgoing shipments with shipping and receiving personnel
• Verify identifying information – counts, weights, measurements, etc. against BOLs, invoices, orders and/or other records
• Perform daily inspection of equipment
• Follow all necessary processes and procedures in AZZ’s truck driver policy
• Position will cross train to various other roles within production

Qualifications

• 1 – 2 years related experience preferred
• Knowledge of raw materials, production process, quality control and costs, knowledge of hand tools and equipment is preferred
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• Certified forklift operator is preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent is helpful
