Forklift Operator

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Pick all orders scheduled for shipment.
• Double check orders for accuracy.
• Report inventory discrepancies to warehouse lead.
• Provide logistics with accurate finished pick tickets.
• Create or request placards for finished ready to ship pallets.
• Assemble all shippers and place them in designated area until ready for use.
• Process all sales sample orders daily while working with logistics to ensure accuracy.
• Auxiliary in the loading and unloading process of all shipments in a timely and efficient manner.
• Inspect forklift equipment before each shift and report any mechanical issues.
• Maintain warehouse areas organized by putting all items in their designated bin locations.
• Sweep and clean entire warehouse area and dispose of all trash at end of shift.

Experience

• 2 years’ warehouse experience
• Stand-up Reach experience
• Experience with RF Scanners and WMS
• Proficient in basic math skills to accurately receive, count, verify, and record inventory and materials
• Able to work in a production area with fast moving equipment, moderate to high noise levels and intermediate temperature changes
• Routinely displays the ability to perform critical thinking processes
• Strong communication skills; able to interact professionally and empathetically with staff and customers
• Support general warehouse operations and perform other duties as assigned
