Responsibilities

• Check-in truck drivers as part of customer service to ensure on-time shipping
• Prepare finished products for shipment to customers
• Adhere to performance standards in quality and quantity, including checking for damages and counts
• Follow warehouse receiving and shipping procedures
• Accurately record and store raw materials and finished goods in the warehouse
• Handle and record all corrugated and plastic packaging products from receipt to storage and then to production
• Maintain good housekeeping within the warehouse
• Ensure adherence to all safety practices, including forklift and dock door safety checklists
• Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Communicate any unsafe conditions or behavior
• Adhere to golden safety rules
• Act in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times by following ALPLA policies, procedures, and OSHA safety standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in general warehousing, manufacturing, or distribution preferred
• Experience with forklift/clamp truck machinery preferred
• Safety awareness and quality consciousness
