About the Role

Operate lift truck within Liquid Production operations, adhering to safety, food safety, quality, and legal compliance standards. Work in a damp, wet, humid, and slippery environment with extreme heat/cold, near moving equipment, and with toxic or caustic chemicals.

Responsibilities

  • Read batch pick sheets, pull ingredients, and packaging.
  • Supply lines, pull lines, and put away materials and finished goods.
  • Ship and receive all materials and finished goods on trucks and rail cars.
  • Connect and disconnect rail cars and bulk tankers to flow panels.
  • Read and understand bills of lading.
  • Use AS400 software equipment.
  • Document completed work as required by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to pass training/certifications as required for qualification.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to use mathematical functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

  • Experience operating sit-down and stand-up lift trucks.
  • Ability to use effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Skills

  • Proficiency in using AS400 software equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand bills of lading.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
