Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Verify and confirm counts of received goods and raw material from transfer trucks and containers, then put away on a timely manner
• Match packing slips with purchase orders and receive them into the computer
• Complete daily equipment checklists (MHE, RF, etc.) before operation
• Load and unload trailers at the docks as assigned
• Properly tag/label received goods
• Pick orders that will be assigned to order pickers, palletize, and wrap accordingly then stage to a loading area as instructed
• Affirm correct placement of pallets for outbound loading
• Process daily assignments accurately and timely
• Affirm that all equipment is returned at the end of the shift to the designated area and placed on charge if needed
• Meet and maintain production and quality standards
• Sweep floors and maintain a tidy work area
• Help to unload containers at times might be required
• Afford to follow directions and communicate with others

Requirements

• One to three years experience operating reach trucks, cherry pickers, and swing reach trucks
• Good computer skills
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Must be able to read and speak in English
• Good work ethic and planning skills
• Able to follow directions and communicate with others
• Must be able to perform basic math functions
