Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

About the role

Ariens Company is seeking a self-starting, motivated Forklift Operator to join our team in Brillion, WI.

Pay

Starts at $22/hour + $4/hour shift differential with an additional $4,000 sign-on bonus.

Schedule

Monday - Thursday (4 days × 10 hours); 2:30 PM - 12:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team handling materials for outdoor power equipment
• Handle raw materials and/or parts and place them in designated locations
• Operate equipment needed to perform the job
• Assist team members in other areas to meet daily production goals
• Record information in adherence to standard work
• Load and unload materials and units onto trucks
• Enter material movement into AS400
• Operate an industrial truck or pallet jack to assist in loading or moving product
• Deliver the right parts and quantities to assembly cells or work centers in a timely manner
• Offload incoming product and transfer to proper storage locations
• Locate and transport raw materials to and from work centers
• Identify and locate proper tooling when requested by operators
• Load and unload dies into work centers
• Empty scrap hoppers
• Assist with crane operation
• Assist with set-up duties as needed

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day
• Must be able to use hands to position parts in place
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds at varying frequencies
• Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Demonstrated experience in safely operating a forklift and other material handling equipment
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
