Forklift Operator (2nd & 3rd Shift)

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks according to established procedures.
• Use sit-down and stand-up lifts as well as a tugger to fill the assembly lines.
• Service the assembly lines by ensuring they have needed materials in a timely manner.
• Perform pre- and post-shift checks on mobile equipment while following all prescribed safety regulations.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Stand or sit for 8–12 hours per day.
• Participate in cross-training and job rotation, which is vital to our operations.
• Work extra hours or shifts based on customer production requirements.
• Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Obtain and maintain a company-issued forklift license in good standing.
• Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.

Requirements

• Successfully complete a practical forklift certification test at the interview.
• Complete I-9 verification with acceptable documents.
• Consent to a criminal background check, urinalysis drug screen, and motor vehicle record check (conducted by a third party).

Pay

Starting pay: $16.75 per hour

• $1.25 per hour hilo/forklift premium
• $0.75 per hour shift premium (2nd & 3rd shift only)

Total hourly pay with all premiums: $18.75

Scheduled raises at 90 days, 6 months, and annually.

Schedule

• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:50 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:50 AM (9:30 PM start time on Sunday night)
