Forklift Operator - 1st Shift - Offsite Destroy

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Forklift Operator to contribute to our distribution Operations team in Jackson, TN. At Ingram, the Operations team ensures that our distribution centers and warehouse facilities function at maximum efficiency. Responsibilities

• Operate motorized equipment and use a radio frequency scanner
• Transfer between all Jackson, TN locations as needed
• Load transportation trailers
• Conduct tasks with minimal supervision
• Sign out motorized equipment after completing a daily safety checklist
• Report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor
• Physically stack product on and off pallets
• Utilize reading, writing, and math skills to meet production standards and complete necessary paperwork
• Retrieve and prep product for shipping
• Process special work order requests for clients and customer orders requiring special handling
• Maintain accuracy in PKMS for unique inventory transactions
• Process requests to destroy product and adjust inventory accordingly

Requirements

• 6 months of continuous work experience
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean DMV record
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs, bend, reach, stand, walk, and push continuously
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire assigned shift
• Ability to pass a physical examination, including vision (distance, peripheral, and depth perception) and hearing tests for safe operation of motorized equipment
• Ability to escalate up to 25 feet in height on equipment
• Ability to grip/grasp continuously during the shift
• Ability to bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn, climb, crawl, reach above shoulder, and type/keyboard frequently
• Ability to work designated shifts, including overtime as required (before/after shift or weekends)
• Exposure to a wide range of temperatures
• Ability to work safely and adhere to safety guidelines in a warehouse environment
• Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks
• Ability to work independently or in a group environment
• Flexibility to multi-task based on workflow demands
• Ability to meet and maintain production standards
• Reliable attendance
• Ability to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and work
