Forklift Operator - 1st Shift

About the Role

The Forklift Operator is responsible for efficiently pulling products for weekly distribution requests, operating forklifts and order pickers, and supporting shipping and receiving activities.

Responsibilities

• Pull and stage products for distribution and shipping.
• Operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
• Assist with receiving incoming freight, unloading/loading trucks, and tagging inventory.
• Ensure accurate documentation and proper storage of incoming freight.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Report equipment issues and adhere to safety and company policies.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate professionally.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in distribution or warehouse environments.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Proficiency in warehouse procedures, inventory systems, and operation of DC equipment.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and bending.

Work Environment
