Responsibilities

• Transport raw materials to the grinding room and remove trash and pallets.
• Pull and stage raw materials in proper rotation according to FIFO basis and line-up sheet or supervisor's instruction.
• Lift pallets and empty containers weighing up to 80 pounds.
• Operate forklift safely in accordance with company guidelines.
• Perform operational and safety inspections before operating the forklift and report any problems to the supervisor.
• Ensure all raw materials are identified by the percent of lean in the product, typically ranging from 50% to 98%.
• Store and rotate raw materials in the chill rooms or tempering room, ensuring correct storage temperatures.
• Load and unload vat dumper, and remove partially filled combos.
• Communicate with first grinder and blender operators regarding the use of raw materials.
• Inspect raw materials visually and by smell, and remove any foreign material or off odor.
• Securely store and record partial combos with the same lot number.
• Keep the grinding room, chill rooms, and tempering room clean.
• Report any damage to equipment or product to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Valid, updated forklift license issued by GSF.
• Total and full range of motion physical ability.
• Ability to lift and move up to 80 pounds.
• Constant standing, walking, and moving.
• Wear protective equipment and/or clothing as required.
• Work in an environment with temperatures ranging from 40 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit, and occasionally in temperatures below 10 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Good reading, writing, and communication skills.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $XX - $YY per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
