Forklift Driver

Job Responsibilities

• Transfer raw materials from storage to production using a riding pallet jack or forklift.
• Transfer finished products from the production line to the freezer.
• Offload delivered raw materials and other supplies to storage area; organize according to facility specifications.
• Stack and organize pallets and maintain a clean working area.
• Remove empty combos and garbage pallets from department.

Requirements

• Complies with facility and organizational policies governing workplace conduct, workplace safety, food safety, good manufacturing practices and any other operational policies as established.
• Understands and places in practice appropriate safety procedures.

Skills

• Experience: 0-1 years of experience in related field preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite Products: Excellent proficiency.
• Verbal Instructions: Ability to follow with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma and/or equivalent work experience required.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing Plant Environment: Noise, extreme temperatures, significant movement of powered equipment, people and conveyor.
• Office & Plant Environment: Typical of an office & plant setting.
• Physical Abilities: Standing/walking for greater than 4 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls.
