Forklift Driver

About the role

Forklift Drivers at Carolina Poly are responsible for safe operation of sit-down propane forklifts for the purpose of handling, loading, and unloading finished product. They also use RF scanners and inventory control systems to pull orders, keep production lines supplied, and re-stock inventory racks.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of sit-down propane forklifts
• Handling, loading, and unloading finished product
• Using RF scanners and inventory control systems
• Pulling orders and keeping production lines supplied
• Re-stocking inventory racks

Requirements

• At least six months of recent experience operating a forklift
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to work a night shift or a day shift as assigned by management
• The ability to be a good student of Carolina Poly processes, equipment, and procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license

Skills

• Knowledge of forklift operation and safety
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Attention to detail
