Forklift Driver 10a - 6p

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our manufacturing team from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely moving raw materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout the facility while supporting production and shipping operations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, and/or reach forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and products.
• Supply production lines with raw materials and remove finished goods.
• Perform shipping and receiving activities, including verifying quantities and documentation.
• Inspect forklifts before each shift and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions using scanners, computer systems, or paperwork.
• Ensure proper storage of materials and adherence to inventory control procedures.
• Follow all OSHA, company safety, and quality standards.
• Absorb cycle counts and physical inventories as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and production environment.
• Support other warehouse and manufacturing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of forklift operating experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to sit and operate equipment for extended periods.
