Forklift Distribution Associate

Responsibilities
The Distribution Associate will perform all necessary warehouse duties, including receiving, processing, and shipping of AKIRA inventory. Specific duties may include:
- Receiving duties: unloading and accurately counting all incoming shipments, receiving items into the WMS system
- Processing duties: picking, sorting, censoring, scanning, and packing of inventory
- Shipping duties: safely palletizing and assembling orders for freight shipments according to retail location
- Operating scanners/computers related to warehouse operations
- All other responsibilities as assigned by management
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should be able to:
- Safely operate in a warehouse environment, with a solid understanding of safety regulations
- Push, pull, lift 50 lbs continuously throughout the shift
- Stand/walk 10 hours a day
- Work efficiently as part of a team
- Receive and give feedback effectively
- Have a working knowledge of computer programs for entering data and basic math and recording abilities
- Have experience operating powered industrial truck

Pay
Starting pay is $17.00 - $19.00 per hour. We are committed to fair and transparent compensation practices, and compensation for this position will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
Schedule
This is a full-time position, with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 8AM to 4:30PM, onsite in Bolingbrook, IL.
