About The Role

The Opportunity at Maverick Currencies is tailored for disciplined and motivated individuals interested in trading forex and cryptocurrencies. This is a performance-based, independent contractor role where traders utilize firm capital to execute trades across various markets, including major, minor, exotic forex pairs, and cryptocurrencies. The role offers a flexible remote work arrangement, allowing traders to operate from anywhere within the US, Canada, or the UK. As a trader, your primary responsibilities include executing trades based on technical and fundamental analysis, adhering to Maverick’s risk management protocols, and maintaining detailed trading journals to monitor performance and progress. The role provides structured onboarding, proprietary training, and mentorship from experienced traders and coaches, supporting continuous growth and skill refinement. Successful traders have the opportunity to increase their trading capital and buying power as they achieve performance milestones, enabling them to scale their trading activities and earnings.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in trading forex and/or cryptocurrencies
• Analytical mindset with comfort working with charts and price data
• Strong self-discipline and ability to follow a rules-based trading plan
• Reliable internet connection and availability during major market sessions
• Resident of the United States, Canada, or United Kingdom
• Prior experience in forex, crypto, futures, or options trading (preferred but not required)
• Familiarity with trading platforms such as MetaTrader 4/5, TradingView, or similar (preferred)
• Background in finance, economics, mathematics, or related fields (preferred)
• Experience with technical analysis, candlestick patterns, or price action strategies (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Execute trades in forex and/or cryptocurrency markets based on technical and fundamental analysis
• Follow Maverick’s risk management rules and position-sizing guidelines to protect capital
• Maintain a detailed daily trading journal to track performance and decision-making processes
• Continuously analyze market conditions and refine trading strategies accordingly
• Adhere to firm policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency
• Participate in ongoing training and mentorship sessions to enhance trading skills
• Achieve performance milestones that enable scaling of trading capital and buying power
