Forestry Technician

Responsibilities

• Take direction from Foresters on tasks to be completed including appropriate and required processes, applications in order to safely and efficiently support the Forestry team and project.
• Mechanical and chemical timber stand improvement (TSI)
• Herbicide applications
• Operate forestry equipment including large capacity herbicide sprayers safely and effectively.
• Clean and maintain field equipment and vehicles.

• Flexible schedule
• Ability to be away from home overnight for extended periods of time
• Ability to work weekends as needed
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail
• Must be team orientated
• Excellent communication skills
• Physically capable of working in rugged terrain, traversing long distances on foot, carrying gear, and in extreme weather conditions
• Must hold a valid Real ID driver’s license
