Foreperson

We are seeking a Foreperson who takes pride in safe operations, mechanical skill, and supporting efficient plant performance.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Directs and controls work schedule provided by plant manager.
• Communicates with plant and/or contractors with regards to schedule.
• Determines access for job site and directs equipment so no damage of property occurs.
• Directs crew with details of project to complete task according to blueprint specifications.
• Maintains a strict adherence to company policies, safety policies, and OSHA regulations at all times.
• Must be available to travel and work from other company facilities as needed.
• Must possess a professional attitude while interacting with peers, contractors and general public.
• Stands for long periods of time performing tests in hot weather or current conditions
• May perform other related duties as required or directed. Including to travel and work from other company facilities as needed

Requirements

• Ability to communicate, understand, and follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Must be willing to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays when necessary. Regular and timely attendance is required.
• Must pass pre-employment requirements, drug screen, criminal background check and driving record review.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma/GED preferred.
• A valid and current Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License or equivalent, and a valid medical DOT card.
• At least 2 years of Gunite or relevant construction experience.
