Forensics Engineer/Project Manager - Diagnostics
Responsibilities
The Forensics Engineer/Project Manager will manage the technical production and contractual aspects of multiple projects within the office, focusing on restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, and forensics-related work. They will also assist in marketing, business development, and growth of the Diagnostics Group.
The ideal candidate should have experience and interest in restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, water infiltration, building envelope issues, and forensic engineering work. They should possess a high energy level, be self-motivated, and able to work within a strong team environment.
The successful candidate should demonstrate technical specialization, proactivity, and assertiveness in meeting client and project needs. They should also have a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structures, 7+ years of relevant experience, a P.E. license, litigation/forensics experience, attorney/insurance client relationships, proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills, and the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with focus in Structures preferred
- 7+ years of relevant experience with proven growth
- P.E. license required
- Litigation/forensics experience and attorney/insurance client relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT)
- Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and assertive in meeting client and project needs
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Strong customer service focus
Benefits
Walter P Moore offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $110K - $130K in San Francisco, along with benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.

Pay
This position has an annual salary range as stated above and is, in good faith, an estimate. The actual offered salary will be dependent on the candidate's knowledge, skills abilities, geographic location, industry experience, and internal equity.
