Forensics Engineer/ Project Manager - Diagnostics
Responsibilities
The Forensics Project Manager will manage the technical production and contractual aspects of multiple projects within the office, focusing on restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, and forensics-related work. This role will also involve assisting in marketing, business development, and growth of the Diagnostics Group.
The ideal candidate should have experience and interest in restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, water infiltration, building envelope issues, and forensic engineering work. They should possess a high energy level, be self-motivated, and able to work within a strong team environment, serving clients on major projects both domestically and internationally.
The successful candidate must demonstrate technical specialization, proactive behavior, and assertiveness in meeting client and project needs. They should also have a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structures, at least 7+ years of relevant experience, a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Drafting (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper), strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills, the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines, and a strong customer service focus.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with focus in Structures preferred
- 7+ years of relevant experience with proven growth
- P.E. license is required
- Ability to win new clients and generate new business
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Computer Aided Drafting/Design (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper)
- Strong technical, written, and verbal communication
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Strong customer service focus
