Forensic Psychologist - Clinical Supervisor

About the role

This position is available for a Clinical Supervisor within Liberty Healthcare’s forensic mental health program in California. The program serves justice-involved adults with mental illness who are incompetent to stand trial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee forensic evaluations for justice-involved individuals with mental illness
• Ensure clinical services align with best practices in forensic mental health
• Lead quality assurance, compliance, and training initiatives
• Direct and indirectly supervise licensed clinicians and ancillary professionals
• Collaborate with the program’s Executive Director and other leaders
• Foster relationships with stakeholders at the California Department of State Hospitals and county sheriff’s departments
• Occasionally provide clinical services as needed

Requirements

• Professional licensure in California as a Clinical Psychologist
• At least two years of forensic mental health experience
• Knowledge of best practices in evaluating and treating justice-involved individuals with mental illness
• Ability to lead others

Qualifications

• California residency is required

• Starting pay between $130,000 and $145,000 (dependent on qualifications)

Schedule

This is a remote role, allowing you to work from your home office in California. Occasional travel to service locations in Southern California may be required.
