About the role

The Psychology department at the Oklahoma Forensic Center is seeking qualified Psychologists to provide direct care for consumers of behavioral health treatment in an inpatient setting. Services include assessment and therapy, behavior management, and the ability to conduct competence to stand trial evaluations after sufficient training and supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care for consumers of behavioral health treatment in an inpatient setting.
  • Conduct assessments and therapy sessions.
  • Manage behaviors and ensure patient safety.
  • Conduct competence to stand trial evaluations as required.

Requirements

  • A current license by the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
  • Two (2) years of experience as a licensed psychologist.
  • A master's degree in psychology from an accredited college or university, with a specialty in counseling psychology, and one (1) academic year in a full-time post-master’s or pre-doctoral internship or one (1) year of full-time experience, while enrolled in a major doctoral study program, under the direct supervision of a licensed psychologist.
  • Must be currently licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.

  • Education and experience requirements for Forensic Psychologist II: Current licensure by the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of Psychologists and two (2) years of experience as a licensed psychologist.
