About the role

The Children's Justice Center is a homelike facility serving children and families experiencing the crisis and chaos that comes with the disclosure of significant physical or sexual abuse of a child.

Under general direction of the Associate Director—Children's Justice Center or Clinical Supervisor and as a member of the Utah Valley Special Victims Task Force, this role performs professional work in conducting forensically sound investigative interviews and assessing individual child victims. Prepares individual reports and evaluations and testifies in court as required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct forensically sound investigative interviews with child victims.
  • Assess individual child victims as part of the investigative process.
  • Prepare detailed reports and evaluations based on interviews and assessments.
  • Testify in court as required.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work, sociology, psychology, criminal justice, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license; must obtain a valid State of Utah driver's license within sixty (60) days of employment.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Pay

$26.74 - $30.74 per hour

Schedule

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday — 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
