Forensic Auditing Subject Matter Expert | AI Evaluation Specialist (On-Call)

About the role

Volga Partners is seeking experienced finance, audit, insurance, compliance, and legal professionals to join our growing network of on-call AI Evaluation Specialists.

Responsibilities

• Create and review finance, audit, insurance, compliance, and legal-related prompts, scenarios, and analytical tasks.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for factual accuracy, reasoning quality, and business relevance.
• Apply your professional expertise to improve AI model performance.
• Review analyses, assumptions, calculations, documentation, and recommendations.
• Identify inaccuracies, inconsistencies, logical gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide structured written feedback and quality assessments.
• Collaborate with project teams to maintain high-quality deliverables.
• Meet established productivity, quality, and turnaround expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Law, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience within one or more of the listed finance, audit, insurance, compliance, legal, or risk disciplines.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent written English communication skills.
• Ability to evaluate complex business, financial, audit, compliance, insurance, or legal concepts and clearly explain your reasoning.
• Reliable internet connection.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• CFA Charterholder or CFA Candidate
• CPA, ACCA, ACA, CMA, CIA, CISA
• MBA (Finance)
• JD, M.Com or equivalent professional credentials
• Experience in one or more of the following: Financial Modeling, Valuation, Investment Analysis, Forecasting, Auditing, Insurance Compliance, Risk Management, Legal Analysis, Reviewing technical reports or research, AI evaluation, machine learning, or data annotation projects.

Benefits

This is an on-call, project-based contract opportunity supporting ongoing AI training and evaluation initiatives. Candidates selected for this opportunity will become part of Volga Partners' on-call network of subject matter experts. As client projects become available, qualified contributors will be invited to participate based on project requirements, expertise, availability, and performance.

Pay

$35.00–$42.00 USD per hour (depending on qualifications and project).

Schedule

Fully Remote
Flexible Schedule
On-call assignments 0–20 hours per week, depending on project availability.
