Foreman - Waterproofing (68893)

About the role

Manage, supervise, and coordinate daily field operations of project and related field personnel to ensure completion of the project on time with the highest safety, customer service, and quality levels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and inspect quality control.
• Inspect work to comply with company and manufacturer standards.
• Ensure safety protocols are being adhered to and enforced (e.g., PPE usage, daily scaffold inspections, weekly safety tailgate meetings, fall protection setup, equipment inspections).
• Monitor crews to ensure productivity and adherence to company policies and onsite procedures.
• Report policy violations by crew members to supervisor.
• Monitor material stock and notify supervisor when supplies are low; assist with quantity assessments.
• Enforce company policies and procedures professionally; document and report incidents to HR and supervisor.
• Inform supervisor of resident/client issues or concerns.
• Apply construction concepts, practices, and procedures to plan and accomplish goals.
• Identify and use tools, materials, and supplies required for tasks.
• Maintain professional communication skills (written, verbal, reading).
• Retain and maintain hand-held and most power tools.
• Traverse ladders (including extension ladders), scaffolding, and roofs.
• Read scope of work and product applications; understand submittals and project-specific materials.
• Clock in and out crews’ hours as designated.
• Keep work phone accessible for emergency response calls; assist with dispatching crews or responding to emergencies. Assign a backup for emergency calls during scheduled time off.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience in waterproofing or a related field.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation to complete tasks without direct supervision.
• Professionalism in waterproofing works.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Flexibility to work extended and non-standard hours as required.
• Valid driver’s license (advantageous).
• Strong understanding of roofing, waterproofing, and coatings materials (a plus).

Physical Requirements

• Required to work outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions.
• May occasionally come in contact with unpleasant or hazardous materials.
• May require safety procedures when working at height.
