Foreman Traffic Signal and Roadway Lighting
About the role
For over seven decades investor-owned utilities, municipalities, cooperatives, and others have entrusted their electrical construction and maintenance needs to Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. (Elliot). Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all work is performed in the safest manner possible
- Plan and supervise all work assigned to the crew
- Coach and train crew members in the proper methods of performing the work
- Maintain the proper care of assigned Elliot equipment and tools
- Assume responsibility for the safety, quality, and professionalism of the crew
- Perform other duties as directed or required
Qualifications
- Proficient in reading and understanding plans for traffic signals, roadway lighting, and roadway signs
- 5+ years of experience preferred, not required
- Proficiency with ODOT systems and standards for Traffic Signals, Roadway Lighting, and Signs
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Class A CDL
- Willing to travel
