Foreman, Press (2nd Shift)

Schedule

(Mon – Thurs, 4:00pm – 4:00am) (Fri, 2:30pm – 1:00am) (Sat, 12:30pm – 9:00pm)

Responsibilities

• Run a press machine supported by 3-8 employees.
• Supervise and manage a small team of press operators.
• Adhere to quality processes including in-process inspections to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Correctly interpret work orders and verify documentation.
• Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Perform visual inspection to verify no defects or damage.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested by supervisor or manager.
• Able to read, follow, and interpret planning and work order instructions.
• Able to verify part quantity and perform visual inspection for defects or damage.
• Punctuality
• The ability to perform basic shop math, fractions, decimals.
• The ability to navigate intranet to locate process documents
• Basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Experience running Extrusion Presses
• Experience in the Metal Extrusion industry
• Able to read orders
• Manufacturing

Pay

The pay for this position is $27.77 - $28.74. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic locations, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
