Foreman - Machinery

About the role

Seeking an experienced working foreman to lead a rigging and machinery-installation crew in our Greensboro, NC location. You'll be on job sites every day running the crew, loading, lifting, moving, and setting heavy equipment. Work is primarily local and regional, with minimal long-term, out-of-state travel. You'll travel to different customer sites as needed, mostly day-work with occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew on machinery-moving, rigging, and installation jobs
• Work hands-on with forklifts, cranes, skates, jacks, and rigging gear
• Plan lifts, give direction, and ensure work is done safely
• Load, move, set, and align machines and equipment
• Read and follow lift plans, drawings, and layouts
• Fill out basic job paperwork and communicate with customers as needed
• Travel to different job sites when required

Requirements

• 1–3 years rigging, machinery moving, or machinery installation experience
• 2+ years experience leading a crew or working as a foreman in rigging, machinery moving, or machinery installation
• Able to read simple drawings and lift plans
• Willing to travel, work overtime, and weekends when needed
• Successful background, MVR, and drug screening
• Valid driver's license
