Foreman Install Laborer - Drop Tech

About the Role

As an Equipment Foreman on our Telecom Construction team at Bigham Cable Construction, Inc., you'll oversee crews, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and on schedule. You'll also manage equipment and materials to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Safely operate and control assigned equipment
• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates as needed
• Oversee and help with training of crew members
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
• Maintain production notes and DOT paperwork
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery, complete maintenance
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver's license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, work at heights and in confined spaces, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift greater than 55 pounds.

Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse.
