Foreman in training
About the Role
As a Foreman in Training at Cantey Foundation Specialists, you'll learn how to run jobs, lead a crew, and create solutions that protect homeowners' biggest investment. This hands-on position involves working under houses, in crawl spaces, solving problems, making decisions, and developing the skills needed to become a respected Foreman.
Responsibilities
- Work side-by-side with experienced Crew Leaders
- Learn how to lead a crew and run a jobsite
- Install foundation and crawl space repair systems
- Crawl under homes and work in tight spaces
- Operate tools and equipment
- Travel to different jobs and tackle new challenges
- Help create a great experience for every customer
- Develop the skills needed to lead your own crew
Physical Demands
- Regularly crawl, kneel, squat, bend, and maneuver through crawl spaces
- Lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment
- Dig, shovel, and perform physically demanding work
- Work in hot, humid, dusty, muddy, and confined environments
- Stay active throughout the workday
- Lead from the front by working alongside your crew
Requirements
- Construction experience preferred
- Strong work ethic
- Reliable and coachable
- Comfortable with physical labor
- Desire for more responsibility and leadership opportunities
- Valid driver's license

Expected Travel
This position requires travel to job sites throughout the state and surrounding areas. Team members should be comfortable with daily travel and occasional overnight stays.
