Foreman-General Laborer (Orlando, FL) - Austin Industrial

Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct labor employees during daily work activities.
- Assign tasks based on project needs, employee skill level, and work priorities.
- Monitor job progress to ensure work is completed on time and meets quality expectations.
- Ensure employees follow all safety policies, procedures, and job site requirements.
- Conduct daily safety talks, toolbox meetings, and pre-task planning as needed.
- Inspect work areas, tools, and equipment to identify hazards or needed repairs.
- Communicate work instructions clearly to employees and report progress to management.
- Maintain attendance, productivity, and performance records for assigned crew members.
- Aid in training new employees on job duties, safety practices, and company expectations.
- Address minor employee issues and report disciplinary concerns to management when necessary.
- Must be able to perform work wearing personal protective equipment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in labor, maintenance, construction, industrial, or related field preferred.
- Prior supervisory or crew lead experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures and hazard awareness.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and hold employees accountable.
- Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read work instructions, follow schedules, and complete basic reports.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work in indoor or outdoor conditions as required.
- No minimum education requirements.
- Experience in an industrial setting for 3 years.
