Foreman Electrician

Responsibilities

• Lead Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment according to codes and specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents to determine the layout of electrical systems
• Inspect electrical components, identify hazards, and perform preventive maintenance
• Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently
• Provide clear documentation of work performed and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

• Valid journeyman electrician license or certification (preferred)
• Experience leading teams of Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians
• Ability to read and install electrical systems from engineering drawings, blue-prints etc
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical work
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety protocols
• Ability to use hand and power tools relevant to the trade
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in confined spaces or at heights
• Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites
• Must pass a background and drug screening
