Responsibilities
- Lead Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment according to codes and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Inspect electrical components, identify hazards, and perform preventive maintenance
- Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently
- Provide clear documentation of work performed and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- Valid journeyman electrician license or certification (preferred)
- Experience leading teams of Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians
- Ability to read and install electrical systems from engineering drawings, blue-prints etc
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical work
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety protocols
- Ability to use hand and power tools relevant to the trade
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in confined spaces or at heights
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites
- Must pass a background and drug screening
