Characteristics

• Ensures adherence to established cleaning standards.
• Communicates cleaning standards and procedures to staff.
• Schedules and assigns custodial work, including recycling and waste management.
• Coordinates, directs, and evaluates the performance of custodians.
• Performs daily facility inspections and inspects project work.
• Trains, instructs, and offers technical advice to subordinates.
• Maintains appropriate records for all work, including repairs and safety concerns.
• Directs and supervises setups and takedowns for various events.
• Enforces work guidelines and safety regulations.
• Prepares and conducts employee performance evaluations.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Maintains equipment and ensures proper storage.
• Monitors and reports facility issues, accidents, and safety concerns.
• Interprets and enforces College and departmental policies.
• Maintains attendance records.
• Adjusts work schedules to meet production needs.
• Improves production methods, equipment performance, and quality of work.
• Assists in emergency situations or immediate actions.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
