About the Role
We are seeking a Civil Foreman to join the Grid & Digital Solutions department within the Thermal Power & HVDC division for the construction of a high-voltage substation based in Lajanuri, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates tasks regarding onsite operations.
- Collaborates with subcontractors on rescheduling and work matters.
- Ensures quantity and quality receipt of on-site materials.
- Ensures compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Identifies local resources, materials, and services.
- Reports and works closely under the Site Manager.
- Achieves project completion on time, on budget, and in line with technical requirements.
- Aims for minimum punch list remarks during acceptance.
- Reports project progress to superiors.
- Works closely with project managers and finance teams to track contract budgets, payments, and cost control.
Requirements
- Diploma or technical certification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience, preferably as a Civil Foreman in the energy/construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and codes.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to safety and compliance.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Flexibility to relocate.
