Foreman

Wolf Tree, a Davey Company, is seeking a Foreman/Foreperson for Utility Line Clearance in Chattanooga, TN. This is an on-site, full-time permanent position with up to 25% travel expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide crew supervision and line clearing/tree trimming services for major electric utility providers
• Perform pruning of treetops, repair damaged trees through trimming or removal, and remove broken limbs from wires, roofs, and other objects
• Direct crew members and equipment, planning and executing assigned work and tasks
• Supervise and assist in the proper maintenance, preparation, and operation of all tools and equipment, including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts
• Operate as part of a crew with supporting Groundmen and Trimmer/Climber

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver’s license required; commercial driver’s license preferred and may be required
• Pesticide license if required by state law; herbicide license a plus
• Line clearance certification if working near utility transmission lines
• ISA Certified Tree Worker certification or willingness to obtain
• Electric utility tree trimming/climbing experience preferred
