Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee daily site construction activities under the supervision of the Field Manager.
  • Support the successful completion of projects with precision, craftsmanship, organization, and documentation — ensuring jobs are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and leadership presence on-site.
  • Understand that details matter, scheduling and coordinating inspections, tracking RFIs, submitting daily reports, and maintaining clear communication with your Field Manager.
  • Value safety and quality, promoting safe work practices at all times and immediately addressing potential hazards.
  • Hands-on and technically skilled, possessing strong carpentry and fixturing skills and working with tools the majority of the time.

Requirements

  • Strong carpentry and fixturing experience required.
  • Ability to read and interpret civil, architectural, and mechanical plans.
  • Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Procore.
  • Proficient with standard carpentry tools.
  • Able to operate forklift and scissor lift.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated history of working safely and adhering to safety standards.
  • Ability to climb ladders and roofs.
  • Lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
  • Work extended hours outdoors in various climates.
  • Successfully complete PFT Exam with Category I or II clearance.

Qualifications

  • Passionate about hands-on construction work and leading from the field.
  • Naturally step up to coordinate crews, keep projects moving, and ensure work is installed safely and correctly.

Skills

  • Leadership presence and ability to build positive working relationships with subcontractors, inspectors, clients, and EWB personnel.
  • Detail-oriented and accountable, helping schedule and coordinate inspections, track RFIs, submit daily reports, and maintain clear communication with your Field Manager.
  • Commitment to safety and quality, promoting safe work practices at all times and immediately addressing potential hazards.
  • Hands-on and technically skilled, possessing strong carpentry and fixturing skills and working with tools the majority of the time.
  • Ability to read and interpret civil, architectural, and mechanical plans and understand construction sequencing.
