About the role
We are looking for a US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate who has completed their FPGEE and TOEFL and is ready to complete their required US Internship hours to become ready for a Pharmacist role. This role involves assisting the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations, fulfilling prescriptions accurately, and providing patient care.
Responsibilities
- Living our purpose by following all company SOPs at each workstation
- Following pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation
- Creating heartfelt and personalized moments while serving patients
- Offering to counsel, fielding medical questions, and soliciting information on a patient’s medical history
- Taking telephonic prescriptions from the prescriber and clarifying prescriptions or facilitating medication changes
- Maintaining the highest level of self-awareness and providing in-the-moment coaching, training, and mentoring to pharmacy team members
- Completing basic inventory activities as permitted by law
- Contributing to a high-performing team, embracing a growth mindset, and being receptive to feedback
- Supporting immunizations, including preparing and administering vaccines, educating patients, and monitoring for adverse reactions
Requirements
- Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college or school of pharmacy prior to beginning US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate Training Program at CVS
- PFGEE and TOEFL certification
- Pharmacist licensure in the state in which the position is based within 120 days of completion of US Intern hours
Qualifications
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

- Communication Skills: Use and understand verbal and written communication to interact with patients and colleagues

- Physical Demands: Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
- Express or exchange ideas by means of spoken word where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed accurately
