Foreign Language Teacher (Spanish)

About the Role

Under the general supervision of the School Principal, this position develops students' knowledge, skills, and abilities in comprehending, speaking, reading, and writing a language other than English. The role also fosters an understanding and appreciation of the native culture of the countries where the language is the primary means of communication.

Responsibilities

• Teach students in grades 9-12 to comprehend, speak, read, and write a foreign language.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials to cultivate language proficiency.
• Foster cultural awareness and appreciation of the countries where the language is spoken.
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with other educators to integrate language learning into broader curriculum goals.
