Foreign Language Interpreter (Temporary) (Nash)
Job Duties
- Provide face-to-face interpretation for Spanish-speaking children and their families who are referred to the NC Infant-Toddler Program.
- Provide translation of documents that will be provided to families.
Requirements
- High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of experience in interpreting and translating English and Spanish in a setting that requires a knowledge of the programs or service.
Qualifications
Note: Permanent and time-limited NC State Government employees must separate from their permanent or time-limited position in order to work in a temporary position. All temporary employees are limited to one NC State Government temporary assignment at a time.

Benefits

Pay
Hourly Rate of Pay: $34.35 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).
