Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all pre-foreclosure processes, ensuring timelines and investor/insurer requirements are met.
• Coordinate with attorneys, investors, and internal departments to mitigate foreclosure risk and maximize resolution outcomes.
• Monitor loan files and maintain accurate documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Analyze accounts for loss mitigation options and recommend appropriate next steps.
• Identify process improvements and provide leadership in enhancing workflow efficiency.
• Monitor and track pre-foreclosure timelines to ensure compliance with federal, state, and investor guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with borrowers, legal counsel, and third-party vendors to manage foreclosure prevention strategies.
• Resolve complex escalations and ensure the accuracy of system data and loan statuses.
• Maintain strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Provide reporting and updates to management regarding portfolio performance and risk areas.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience processing pre-foreclosure transactions in the mortgage servicing industry.
• Strong knowledge of FHA, VA, and USDA loan guidelines and loss mitigation procedures.
• Proficiency in mortgage servicing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state mortgage regulations (e.g., RESPA, TILA, TRID, ECOA, HMDA, FDCPA, CFPB).
