Foreclosure Legal Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Draft legal documents for attorney review including Substitution of Trustees, Notice of Sale, Foreclosure Deeds and Acceleration letters.
• Review dockets and public records for case progress and recordings.
• Perform Quality Control checks on files to ensure accuracy before and after sale.
• Communicate with Clients and provide status of accounts in multiple Client Systems.
• Handle Original Documents, recordings of originals, and/or Filing with the courts.
• Cross train and assist in other departments to ensure continuity.

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a non-judicial foreclosure role or in a similar position.
• Legal experience in the foreclosure field is desired.
• Ability to review chain of title preferred.
• Ability to work in high volume, fast passed environment.
• Ability and willingness to assist other teams when needed.
• Ability to maintain accuracy, be detail-orientated and highly productive.
• PC proficiency, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer.
• Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work both independently and contribute in every aspect to a team environment.
• Ability to problem solve independently.
• Must have a Positive attitude.
