About the role

Latitude is seeking experienced attorneys for two part-time opportunities supporting real estate and foreclosure matters throughout South Carolina. One opportunity is a contract engagement, and the other is a direct hire.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting real estate and foreclosure matters throughout South Carolina
  • Participating in court appearances and hearings
  • Independently managing matters and court appearances
  • Handling a mix of contract engagements and direct hire roles

Requirements

  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in South Carolina
  • 5+ years of experience in foreclosure, eviction, and real estate litigation; bankruptcy experience is a strong plus
  • Ability and willingness to travel for in-person hearings and other court appearances throughout South Carolina
  • Strong time-management, attention to detail, professional judgment, and communication skills
  • Outstanding professional references

  • Basic requirements for the Foreclosure, Eviction, & Real Estate Litigation Attorneys

Skills

  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

  • Part-Time Eviction & Real Estate Litigation Attorney - Contract Engagement: Approximately $50,000 - $60,000 annually
  • Part-Time Foreclosure Associate Attorney - Direct Hire: Approximately $60,000 - $70,000 annually

Schedule

  • Part-Time Eviction & Real Estate Litigation Attorney - Contract Engagement: Approximately 15-25 hours per week
  • Part-Time Foreclosure Associate Attorney - Direct Hire: Approximately 20-25 hours per week

Location

  • Hybrid - primarily remote with in-person hearings and trials throughout South Carolina
