Foreclosure Attorney

Purpose

Aldridge Pite, LLP is looking for an Associate Attorney to practice out of the firm’s New Mexico office. The Associate Attorney will manage cases with an emphasis on residential real estate litigation, mortgage and transactional matters and protect the client's interest in litigation proceedings and general collection cases.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage cases from inception to completion
  • Prepare analysis of case and advise client regarding strategies
  • Draft court pleadings, defend motions
  • Attend court hearings, both telephonic and in person
  • Other duties and special projects as needed

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Juris Doctor from accredited law school
  • One year of experience in the practice of law, preferably litigation, real estate or mortgage law
  • Admission to practice law in the state of New Mexico
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • The ability to interpret client systems
  • Proficiency in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet
  • Ability to manage and prioritize large caseloads
