Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Ford vehicles, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and more.
- Utilize Ford-specific diagnostic equipment and software to identify and resolve issues.
- Provide accurate repair estimates and communicate effectively with service advisors and customers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with dealership and OSHA standards.
- Stay up-to-date with Ford training and certifications to ensure expertise in the latest vehicle technologies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
Qualifications
- Ford Certified Technician credentials or equivalent ASE certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably with Ford vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, electrical, and hybrid technologies.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment, including Ford IDS (Integrated Diagnostic System).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional ASE certifications or Ford-specific training (e.g., Diesel, Electric/Hybrid Systems).
- Experience with Ford warranty procedures and documentation.
- Familiarity with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and electric vehicle (EV) technology.
Pay
Competitive flat-rate pay based on experience and certification level.
