Responsibilities
- Aid in managing Men's, Women's, and Youth shoe areas.
- Communicate proactively with the Specialty Shop Manager and team about urgent needs in the area.
- Select shoes from backstock and place them in the staging area for sales associates.
- Return any unpurchased shoes to the correct areas in backstock.
- Assist Customer Service with shoe return processing and return items to the sales floor.
- Keep the product organized to eliminate clutter and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Initiate a warm and welcoming interaction with customers, establishing a rapport and offering assistance.
- Maintain a smooth flow of service to minimize wait times for customers.
- Be organized, multi-tasks, and maintain all aspects of the Shoe Runner role.
- Communicate effectively and promptly using strong oral and written communication skills.
- Apply basic understanding to carry out instructions furnished in various forms.
- Show attention to detail.
- Be professional in appearance and attitude, contributing to a positive team atmosphere, and treating others with respect and consideration while following Scheels' policies and procedures.
- Willing to do other tasks as assigned by the leadership team and merchandiser.
- Lead work assigned schedule; may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or 1-3 months of sales experience.
