About the role

PACT Charter School is seeking a Football Varsity Assistant Coach for the 2026/2027 school year. The position offers a pay for the season of $1000 and a 10-week duration starting August 17th and ending October 23rd.

Responsibilities

• Support the head coach in developing and implementing the football program’s strategy and practices.
• Work closely with players to improve their skills and foster a positive team environment.
• Attend all home and away games, as well as all practice sessions.

Requirements

• Previous coaching experience preferred but not required.
• A strong commitment to the values of respect, citizenship, gratitude, compassion, integrity, cooperation, self-control, responsibility, and perseverance.
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with youth sports.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
