Foot & Ankle Sales Associate - Springfield, MA

What You Will Do

• Partner with Sales Representative(s) in the area to learn the medical device industry and Foot & Ankle business.
• Contribute to the growth of the Foot & Ankle business in the assigned territory.
• Cover cases in the assigned territory, market and promote Stryker Foot & Ankle products, build sets, manage inventory, and assist in converting customers to Stryker.
• Attend surgeries to ensure Stryker products are available and instruct surgeons on product use and functionality.
• Educate and inform doctors, nurses, and staff personnel about product use, functionality, and updates.
• Contact customers to identify sales opportunities, provide excellent customer service, and develop customer relationships.
• Identify the needs of new prospects and develop appropriate responses.
• Train and advise on appropriate product selection, answer customer questions, and distinguish Stryker products from competitors.
• Perform field calls for the account(s) and assigned territory.
• Assist in implementing new sales plans and marketing strategies.
• Partners with the Sales Representative and organization to meet and exceed business targets (quotas).
• Serve as the primary backup contact for Sales Representative(s).
• Acquire a basic understanding of the field, including regulatory compliance issues, and adhere to these guidelines.
• Resolve problems or questions that arise in account(s).
• Manage inventory and build proper inventory levels and sets to meet customer needs.
• Acquire and process Customer Purchase Orders (POs) for proper invoicing.
• Maintain training in sales skills and products.
• Market the product line to customers based on knowledge of functionality, features, and differentiators from competitors.
• Stay current on industry, customer, and competitive trends.
• Participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s degree or Medical Certification (i.e. CST, PT, CPT, etc.) + at least 2 years of professional and/or related experience
• High School Diploma + at least 4 years of professional and/or related experience
• 4+ years of active duty military service

$65,000 - $75,000 and may be eligible to earn commission and/or bonuses + benefits.
