About the Role

Dartmouth Health’s Department of Orthopaedics at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH is seeking a Board Eligible/Certified Foot and Ankle Orthopaedic Surgeon to join a collaborative and multidisciplinary academic practice. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a high-acuity, high-volume environment while contributing to the institution’s missions of clinical excellence, education, and scholarly activity.

The successful candidate will join an established division and provide comprehensive foot and ankle care within an integrated healthcare system. The role is based at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, with additional clinical responsibilities at affiliate hospitals in the Upper Valley, offering a short and convenient commute between sites. The position includes participation in a team-based academic practice and shared Level I trauma call consistent with departmental needs.

Academic responsibilities may include teaching and mentoring medical students and residents in both clinical and educational settings. The role expects a focus on clinical research aimed at advancing the clinical mission of the department and Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. The candidate will hold a faculty appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine and fully participate in the research, education, and clinical programs of the Foot and Ankle Division and the Department.

Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of accredited Orthopaedic residency
  • Fellowship training in Foot and Ankle (required)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedics
  • Eligible for NH medical licensure
