Food Storeroom Supervisor

Role Overview: Responsible for managing dining facility storeroom operations, inventory forecasting, ordering, receiving, issuing, and maintaining compliance with food safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Organize storeroom, develop and approve food and supply orders, inspect deliveries, ensure FIFO inventory rotation, issue supplies, and maintain safety and sanitation standards. Collaborate on bi-monthly inventories, reconcile invoices, and document maintenance issues. Train military personnel in storeroom management and automated systems. Qualifications & Skills: Effective communicator, team leader, detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills. Must hold SERV Safe Manager Certification, proficient in Microsoft Office, and capable of working flexible schedules. Ability to pass security clearances and adhere to safety protocols. Physical & Environmental Demands: Prolonged standing, lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance, exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, and potential hazards. Visual acuity and safety awareness are essential.
