Food Sourcing Coordinator

About the role

Mid-Ohio Food Collective (MOFC) is looking for a detail‑oriented, mission‑driven Food Sourcing Coordinator to join our team. The coordinator will support both Procurement and Donation Acquisition, ensuring a steady flow of food to neighbors by managing data, coordinating with vendors and donors, and tracking compliance. The role blends office‑based analytics with field‑based relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the quantity and timing of food purchases using demand forecasts and historical data.
• Support donor engagement, coordinate recognition activities (such as thank‑you letters and events), and assist with vendor bid requests.
• Maintain accurate records in NetSuite (ERP) and CRM systems; generate reports via MealConnect and track agency compliance regarding food safety and training.
• Track expenses against budgets and coordinate invoices with the Finance team.
• Conduct site visits with donors and travel within the network (up to 90% of the time) to support program success.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in coordination, supply chain, procurement, or donor relations.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP/CRM software (e.g., NetSuite).
• Ability to work in varying climate conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for frequent travel.
• Professionalism and empathy when interacting with vendors, donors, and partner agencies.
