Responsibilities
- Opens and closes department at beginning and end of shift.
- Adjusts staffing for absenteeism and workload.
- Sets and adjusts work assignments to meet meal and call processing service demands.
- Assigns tasks, coordinates preparation and production of food required for all service points.
- Leads, directs and assigns work to all assigned staff.
- Checks production tally against patient census, cafeteria requirements, retails areas, diet office, and catering.
- Assists with the training and evaluation of staff competency and performance.
Requirements
- Full Time- varied days and shifts which includes weekend mornings 5:30am-1pm, weekday evenings 1:30pm-10:00pm.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED Preferred.
- 1 year related experience Required.
- 3 years Hospital Food Service, 3 years Food Service, Diet Representative Experience or Diet Technician Experience Preferred.
Skills
- Food Handlers Card - Certification.
- Manager Food Handlers Card - Certification.
